Stronger Community Engagement

A strong city is built when residents feel connected, heard, and involved in shaping the future of their community. My goal is to create more opportunities for residents to participate in civic life, share their concerns, and work together to strengthen Yuma.

Community Wellness Walks and Events

Community activities help bring people together. I support programs such as organized community wellness walks and family-friendly events that encourage residents to stay active while strengthening relationships between neighbors.

Improve the Yuma App

I support building on the Yuma community app that will allow residents to easily report city concerns, share feedback, and stay informed about city news, events, and services. This would help improve communication between residents and city leadership while making it easier to address issues quickly.

Accessible Public Transportation

Transportation plays an important role in community access and opportunity. I support exploring low-cost public transportation options for students, children, and residents over the age of 65 so more members of our community can travel safely and affordably.

Community Recognition and Civic Pride

Recognizing residents who contribute positively to our community helps build pride in our city. Programs that celebrate volunteerism and community leadership can encourage more residents to get involved and give back.
