Biography

Carlos Adams, a Yuma native, father, business owner, and write-in candidate for Mayor of Yuma.

Carlos grew up in this community and understands what too many families are feeling right now: Yuma is full of hardworking people, but too many residents are still struggling with high costs, limited job opportunities, and a City Hall that does not always feel connected to everyday life.

​

As the founder of Adams Boxing, Carlos built a business from the ground up, taking a local dream into national and international markets. Through boxing, business, and community work, he has spent years helping young people, supporting athletes, creating opportunities, and proving that success can start right here in Yuma.

Carlos is running for Mayor because he believes Yuma needs a new direction focused on three things: transparency, opportunity, and community. His priority is simple: every major decision at City Hall should protect residents’ safety and security while bringing real economic prosperity to the people of Yuma.

He is not running to protect the old way of doing things. He is running to fight for working families, small businesses, young people, seniors, and every resident who believes Yuma can do better.
